Job Summary
The MS RN position is designed for a Registered Nurse who specializes in medical-surgical care. This role involves providing high-quality nursing services to patients experiencing a variety of health issues. The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care to ensure optimum health outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and gather comprehensive health histories.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and preferences.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor patient progress and response to treatments, making adjustments as necessary.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver cohesive care.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and care processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience in medical-surgical nursing is highly desirable.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic life support (BLS) or other certification may be required.
