Job Summary
We are seeking a Medical-Surgical 2E Nightshift Registered Nurse (RN Medical/Surgical) for a contract opportunity based in Cleveland, OH. This position is for a period of 13 weeks, catering to the medical/surgical specialty.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a medical/surgical unit.
- Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and communicate with families regarding care plans.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Verification of relevant nursing licenses and certifications.
- Documentation of necessary immunizations including MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, and Influenza.
- Successful completion of a fit test for respiratory protection.
- Submission of a comprehensive UHS submission packet which includes background checks and health statements.
- Ability to provide a valid Driver’s License or State ID.
- Completion of a 2 Step PPD or IGRA test (Quantiferon/Tspot).
- Pass a drug screening and competency exams as part of the hiring process.
- Meet UHS Core Competencies and complete all required modules.
- Prior employment verification and relevant work experience in a medical/surgical setting is preferred.
